These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ShrinkMyImgat shrinkmyimg.com (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What the Service is

ShrinkMyImg is a free, browser-based tool that compresses and converts images entirely on your own device. Your files are processed locally and are never uploaded to our servers. Because of this design, you — not we — remain in sole possession and control of your images at all times.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the Service to process images you do not have the right to use;
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the operation of the website;
• Scrape, frame, or mirror the Service in a way that misrepresents its origin;
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

Since your images never reach us, responsibility for their content rests entirely with you.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to your images. We claim no ownership, license, or interest in any file you process — we never receive them in the first place. Compressed images you download are yours to use however you wish.

4. Free service; no warranty

The Service is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. Image compression is inherently lossy: we work hard to preserve visual quality, but we cannot guarantee that any particular output will meet your needs. Always keep your original files — the Service never modifies them, so your originals remain untouched on your device.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShrinkMyImg and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to use it (which is zero).

6. Third-party services and links

The Service may display advertising and may use analytics, as described in our Privacy Policy. Links to other websites — including other NullWeb tools — are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.

7. Intellectual property

The Service's design, code, branding, and content (excluding your images) are owned by the operator of ShrinkMyImg and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy or reuse them without permission, except as allowed by law.

8. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time. We may also revise these Terms; the current version will always be posted on this page with its “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
